LG Debuts AI-Powered Xboom Speakers for Karaoke Enthusiasts

LG is expanding its Xboom audio lineup with a series of speakers designed to transform any track into a karaoke session. Developed in collaboration with Will.i.am, the flagship Stage 501 features an AI Karaoke Master tool capable of stripping or tuning vocals from virtually any song without requiring specialized audio files.

The Stage 501 introduces a five-sided design housing upgraded dual woofers and full-range drivers for deeper sound. Its 99Wh battery provides 25 hours of playback, with power output scaling from 160W on battery to 220W when plugged into a wall outlet. Beyond the flagship, the portable Xboom Blast offers a ruggedized build with edge bumpers and handles, extending battery life to 35 hours for outdoor environments.

Rounding out the new additions are the compact Xboom Mini and Xboom Rock. The Mini prioritizes durability with IP67 water and dust resistance, while the Rock incorporates Bluetooth Auracast for multi-speaker synchronization. Across the entire range, LG has integrated AI-driven EQ adjustment that dynamically balances melody, rhythm, and vocals in real time. The flagship models further utilize Space Calibration Pro to tune audio output to the specific acoustics of a room. Pricing remains undisclosed, though LG expects to ship the units later this year.
