Amazon Prime Video Accidentally Streams Unreleased Jason Statham Film

Jason Statham’s upcoming action thriller Mutiny appeared in its entirety on Amazon’s Prime Video platform today, two days before its scheduled theatrical debut. Viewers discovered the full 95-minute feature available for streaming, contradicting official marketing materials that maintain the film is exclusive to cinemas beginning August 21st.

The accidental release includes the complete movie alongside a full metadata profile, featuring the official cast list and plot synopsis. The listing describes the narrative arc of Cole Reed, a man framed for the murder of his industrialist employer who must navigate a conspiracy while evading capture.

Neither the production studios, Punch Palace Productions and MadRiver Pictures, nor the US distributor Lionsgate have ties to Amazon that would explain an early digital window. The presence of the film on the service appears to be a technical error rather than a planned promotional stunt. Amazon has yet to provide an explanation for how the unreleased title bypassed standard digital distribution security protocols to become accessible to subscribers.
