The most dramatic increase targets the entry-level segment, with the Echo Dot jumping from $49.99 to $79.99. Other staples of the ecosystem have seen similar upward pressure; the Fire TV Stick 4K Max now retails for $84.99, a 41.7 percent increase, while the base-level Kindle has climbed to $149.99. Amazon’s flagship Echo Dot Max also saw a price lift, moving from $99.99 to $119.99.
These adjustments align Amazon with broader industry trends. Apple recently raised the price of its HomePod Mini to $129, citing similar supply chain pressures, though Google has yet to follow suit with its Home Speaker remaining at $99.99. Notably, Amazon’s Ring security cameras and the premium Echo Studio remain unaffected by this round of price changes.
