Aqara Expands Smart Lighting Portfolio with Thread and Matter Integration

The centerpiece of the launch is the Floor Lamp T1, a 4.6-foot LED-equipped pole featuring 18 individually addressable zones designed to cast ambient color against walls. This focus on zone control extends to the company’s updated LED Strip T2, which incorporates a new chip allowing for independent lighting segments every 3 meters.

Aqara is also diversifying into exterior illumination with Permanent Outdoor Lights H1 and customizable RGBIC string lights suitable for seasonal displays or static white-light aesthetics. Complementing these additions, the second-generation downlights arrive in 4- and 6-inch variants, offering RGB-CCT or standard RGB configurations. While these devices promise compatibility with Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings, and Homey, the manufacturer has yet to disclose specific pricing or global release dates.
