Meta Expands Retail Presence to Showcase New Smart Glasses

Starting in mid-October, Meta will launch a series of physical retail outposts across the United States to demonstrate its latest hardware, including the highly anticipated smart glasses featuring integrated displays. These locations aim to bridge the gap between digital innovation and consumer experience through hands-on product testing.

Meta Expands Retail Presence to Showcase New Smart Glasses

The expansion kicks off October 16 at the Wynn Las Vegas, followed by an October 24 reopening of the company’s Los Angeles location on Melrose Avenue. Unlike the initial pop-up format, the Los Angeles site will return as a permanent flagship store spanning more than 20,000 square feet. A New York City storefront on Fifth Avenue is slated to follow on November 13.

These retail spaces supplement the existing Meta Lab in Burlingame, California. The company is positioning these sites as primary venues for consumers to test the $799 Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses, which launch September 30. Alongside this rollout, Meta is preparing for the October 21 debut of the $499 Oakley Meta Vanguard glasses. Prospective buyers can schedule demonstrations through the company’s website, though demand for appointments in major metropolitan areas is already high, with many slots filled through mid-October.
