While Microsoft has yet to provide an official launch date, Xbox CEO Asha Sharma confirmed the company’s intent to implement a platform-wide equivalent to the Platinum trophy system earlier this year. According to leaked details, these Mythic status markers function as a 100% Gamerscore completion reward, cementing their role as the ultimate accolade for dedicated players.

The discovery of these files aligns with broader internal shifts at the company. On the same day the Mythic references appeared in the PC app, Microsoft announced the layoff of 268 staff members. This restructuring involves the potential closure of studio Ninja Theory and the migration of flagship franchises, including Halo, Sea of Thieves, and Age of Empires, under the Activision banner.
