Prudential Shuffles Leadership Across Asian Markets

Chan San San, currently the chief executive of Prudential Assurance Company Singapore, will transition to chief partnership officer at Eastspring Investments on September 28. Based in Singapore, she will report to Eastspring CEO Rajeev Mittal, tasked with bridging the gap between life insurance and wealth management products for Asian customers. Andreas Rosenthal, a veteran with extensive experience in the group’s finance divisions across Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand, will step in as interim CEO of Prudential Singapore during the search for a permanent successor.

Simultaneously, the company named Naveed Irshad as regional CEO for Indonesia, the Philippines, and Africa, effective October 26. Irshad, who joins from a long tenure at Manulife, will relocate to Hong Kong to report directly to group CEO Anil Wadhwani. Beyond his regional oversight, he will join the group executive committee and spearhead enterprise-wide initiatives for health and product development.
