SiMa.ai Hits Unicorn Status With $1.45 Billion Valuation

Founded in 2018 by former Groq COO Krishna Rangasayee, the company focuses on energy-efficient architecture that minimizes latency. By enabling devices to process data locally, SiMa.ai provides a direct alternative to the high-power, cloud-dependent requirements of Nvidia GPUs. This approach positions the startup to capture a significant share of the expanding market for autonomous systems and humanoid robotics.

The latest funding round, co-led by Fidelity Management & Research Company and Amplify, brings the company's total capital raised past the $500 million mark. Participation included Alter Venture Partners, Dell Technologies Capital, and StepStone Group. This capital infusion marks a sharp rise from the company's previous $960 million valuation, recorded following an $85 million Series B round in July 2025.
