The new handhelds feature aesthetics directly inspired by their original desktop ancestors, complete with familiar color palettes and case designs. Each unit ships pre-loaded with 25 retro games, including staples like Boulder Dash for the C64 and Manic Miner for the Spectrum. Users can expand their library via microSD cards or plug in external keyboards and joysticks via USB for a more authentic desktop feel.

Technically, both devices offer a 4.3-inch display with 800x480 resolution, stereo speakers, and a three-hour battery life recharged via USB-C. While the $129.99 price point sits well above budget emulation devices like the Anbernic RG28XX, the hardware targets collectors drawn to the specific industrial design of the original computers. Preorders are currently open through Funstock, though the units are not expected to ship until October 2026.
