Priced at $14.99, the remote works with Fire TV devices dating back to 2019, with a premium aluminum version containing backlit keys and a tracking feature scheduled for early next year.
Software updates also play a significant role in this rollout, with the introduction of an Alexa Plus Hub and enhanced mobile app integration. Amazon claims its AI now incorporates real-world context, such as current awards or industry events, to provide more nuanced content recommendations. A dedicated Amazon Music application is slated to join the platform later this autumn, further expanding the voice-controlled discovery features across the Fire TV ecosystem.
