The base model features an Intel Core 5 315 “Wildcat Lake” processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD. While these specifications align with recent offerings from Dell, Asus, and Acer, the display choice sets HP apart. Every unit includes a 1080p webcam, dual speakers, HDMI, a 3.5mm audio jack, and two 10Gbps USB-C ports. Users seeking more power can scale up to a Core 7 350 chip, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD.
Despite the OLED advantage, the entry-level experience remains modest. The standard non-touch panel offers 1920 x 1200 resolution and 300 nits of brightness. HP plans to introduce a touchscreen variant when the laptop launches this October, but those requiring a higher-resolution 2560 x 1600 OLED display with 400 nits of brightness must wait until March 2027.
