RBC BlueBay Asset Management has recruited Amin Obeidi to serve as head of Alternatives Strategy for Continental Europe. Based in Munich, Obeidi will report to Viola Patock, the firm's head of Continental Europe. He joins from Quintet Private Bank, where he led alternatives research and strategy, bringing nearly 20 years of experience to the newly created role. His mandate includes driving strategic growth and partnering with regional business development teams to broaden client access to alternative investment capabilities.
Simultaneously, Lincoln International has appointed Eduard Egelie as a managing director within its London-based Financial Services Group. Egelie, who previously led financial institutions corporate finance at Societe Generale, will head the firm's European financial services advisory efforts. He will also oversee the European team at MarshBerry, a firm recently acquired by Lincoln to strengthen its reach in the insurance brokerage and wealth sectors. According to Friedrich Bieselt, managing director at Lincoln, Egelie’s arrival is a calculated move to address the regulatory and technological disruptions currently reshaping the European financial landscape.
