RBC Wealth Management Shuffles Leadership to Bolster European Growth

William Hepburne-Scott steps into the newly created role of chief commercial officer at RBC Wealth Management, a promotion marking his third decade with the firm. The appointment serves as the anchor for a broader restructuring of the company’s regional leadership across the UK, Jersey, and the Republic of Ireland.

RBC Wealth Management Shuffles Leadership to Bolster European Growth

Hepburne-Scott, who previously led the firm's southern region, will oversee the European commercial strategy to align client services with long-term growth objectives. His transition coincides with the upcoming retirement of Lucie Gordon, managing director for the northern region, who departs in December 2026 after a dozen years with the organization.

To support this expansion, RBC is elevating regional heads Rod Walley, Robin Mellows, and Kevin Jennings to the role of regional managing directors. Reporting to Nicholas Oliver, these leaders will manage the firm’s network of over 30 offices. Alongside these internal shifts, the company is executing a strategic hiring program, welcoming new talent including Adrian Moran and Rowena Kenny in Dublin, Jonathon Crisp and Amrit Sihota in London, and Darren Watkins in Bristol. These additions are designed to deepen the firm's coverage for private clients, families, and business owners as it seeks sustainable, organic growth.
