Vanguard, T Rowe Price and Jupiter Expand European Investment Range

European investors face a wider array of choice this month as major asset managers roll out new fixed-income and active equity vehicles. Vanguard, T Rowe Price, and Jupiter Asset Management are targeting both retail and institutional demand for diversified, low-cost exposure and active, research-led portfolio strategies across regional markets.

Vanguard, T Rowe Price and Jupiter Expand European Investment Range

Vanguard has introduced the USD High Yield Corporate Bond UCITS ETF, providing low-cost access to US dollar-denominated sub-investment grade debt. The fund, which tracks the Bloomberg US High Yield $250MM 2 per cent Issuer Capped Index, will trade on major exchanges including London, Frankfurt, and Amsterdam. Claire Aley, head of Product and PRD Europe, noted that the launch addresses investor needs for portfolio income and duration management.

Meanwhile, T Rowe Price is entering the European active ETF market with two Irish-domiciled equity strategies: the T Rowe Price Integrated Global Equity Index UCITS ETF and the T Rowe Price Integrated US Equity Enhanced Index UCITS ETF. These funds, registered on the Xetra exchange this October, mark the firm’s first such expansion in Europe. Andrew Brickman, the newly appointed head of ETF solutions for EMEA, described the move as a response to the shift of ETFs from specialist tools to mainstream allocation vehicles.

Jupiter Asset Management is also broadening its footprint with the Jupiter Global Monthly Income Bond Fund. Managed by Hilary Blandy, the fund targets a consistent income stream by balancing investment-grade and high-yield credit across a portfolio of 100 to 150 issuers. The fund is currently registered for distribution in 13 jurisdictions, including the UK, Germany, and Switzerland, emphasizing a strategy that hedges currency exposure to stabilize returns.
