The new facility, owned by Inbest GPF SOCIMI, serves as a physical manifestation of the bank's digital evolution. ING expects to manage roughly 800 daily visitors, pairing traditional financial services with specialized teams for private banking and business accounts. Alfonso Tolcheff, CEO of ING in Spain and Portugal, noted that the space addresses a growing customer demand for hybrid banking—blending digital convenience with high-touch expert advice.
This expansion coincides with the 15th anniversary of the bank’s first Spanish branch. Beyond financial transactions, the facility aims to function as a cultural hub. Through a partnership with Contemporary Art Now, the firm is incorporating rotating exhibitions from emerging artists into the office environment, signaling a departure from the sterile atmosphere of traditional banking halls. Looking ahead, the bank plans to formalize its private banking offering in the coming weeks, followed by a dedicated business banking segment rollout scheduled for 2027.
