Baseus launches AI-powered security camera with motorized tracking spotlight

A motorized spotlight that tracks movement across a property distinguishes the new Baseus Security PrimeSentinel U2 Pro from standard surveillance systems. By illuminating intruders in real-time, the device aims to deter unwanted visitors while simultaneously boosting image clarity for its dual 3K sensor array during nighttime hours.

The U2 Pro pairs a fixed 3K lens with a secondary camera capable of 360-degree pan, tilt, and zoom functions. This configuration allows for constant area monitoring alongside targeted tracking. Integrated AI analysis filters out irrelevant movement, such as swaying branches, and categorizes activity into specific alerts for people, pets, vehicles, or package deliveries. Users access encrypted footage stored locally on a 512GB memory card via the Baseus mobile app, or stream live feeds through Amazon Alexa and Google Home.

Installation takes approximately two minutes using wall or ceiling mounts. The unit operates on a rechargeable battery rated for up to 150 days of use, supported by an included 3W solar panel that requires only 40 minutes of sunlight to generate a full day of power. The device is currently available on Amazon in the US for $269.99, with a European rollout scheduled for October 15th at €269.99.
