The update, which promises performance gains across more than 300 titles including Cyberpunk 2077 and Assassin’s Creed Shadows, hits Radeon RX 6000-series GPUs and Ryzen AI 300 and 400 series hardware starting today via the Adrenalin Edition 26.10.1 drivers. While console players must wait for a future deployment, the integration signals a broader strategy to standardize visual fidelity tools across the gaming ecosystem.
This rollout follows a recent collaboration between AMD and Sony to introduce Quick Spectral Super Resolution (QSSR) on the PS5. Jack Huynh, general manager of AMD’s computer and graphics group, noted that the team spent significant time tuning and optimizing the underlying models to ensure the tech performs effectively on diverse hardware. Xbox CTO Scott Van Vilet confirmed the company is currently working with AMD to finalize the implementation, aiming to provide developers with a refined toolset for balancing frame rates and image quality.
