The update introduces Bubbles, a native floating window system accessible via a long press. To improve utility on larger displays, Google has implemented a dedicated bubble bar dock, designed to streamline multitasking on tablets and foldable devices. Beyond interface tweaks, the OS adds Screen Reactions, allowing users to capture selfie video overlays during screen recordings.
Gaming capabilities also see an upgrade, with foldable-specific touchscreen controls and system-wide native controller remapping. Exclusive to the Pixel ecosystem, the update integrates the Gemini Omni model for video generation and the Lyria 3 engine for music creation, alongside a suite of expanded parental and security tools. Not every feature previewed at the pre-I/O Android Show is included in this initial release, as Google continues to refine its rollout strategy.
