The new hardware replaces the previous model’s customizable LCD with a fixed 4.7-inch LED display. By connecting to the Wyze mobile app via Bluetooth, users can sync data directly to Apple Health and Google Fit. The scale utilizes a conductive glass surface on the base, allowing for accurate readings without requiring users to position their feet on specific contact points. When paired with the retractable tethered handle, the device provides granular metrics, including bone mass, visceral and subcutaneous fat, protein levels, and BMI.
Wyze designed the scale to support automatic recognition for up to eight distinct users, while offering guest mode for unlimited one-off measurements. While the mobile app remains optional for basic tracking, it serves as the primary hub for exporting body composition reports as PDFs for health professionals. The device is available for purchase starting today.
