The new interface draws clear inspiration from Google TV, favoring softer, rounded-corner tiles and a streamlined top-level navigation menu. Users can now toggle between dedicated tabs for movies, television, sports, news, and live content. Crucially, these sections aggregate programming from all active subscriptions rather than forcing users to jump between individual app silos.
Amazon has also addressed long-standing complaints regarding home screen management. Installed apps now occupy their own dedicated row, and the previous six-app limit has been expanded to allow for 20 pinned services. While the platform continues to prioritize sponsored recommendations, the increased flexibility in reordering favorites makes the overall experience feel significantly more responsive and tailored to personal viewing habits.
