Starting July 6th, the Uno Q will see a significant markup, ending its run at the $44 and $59 price points. Chief product officer Marcello Majonchi attributed the move to memory component costs that have more than doubled over the last six months, driven largely by the relentless demand for AI hardware. While Qualcomm, which acquired Arduino last October, previously helped the company insulate customers from these expenses, the firm can no longer absorb the market pressure.

This adjustment mirrors a wider volatility in the tech sector. Apple recently increased prices across its MacBook and iPad lineups, while Microsoft added $100 to $150 to the cost of its Xbox consoles.
