House Democrats Allege DOJ Cover-Up of Trump-Epstein Ties

A 53-page report from the House Judiciary Committee accuses the Justice Department of operating as a private legal defense firm for the president. Democrats claim officials are actively suppressing evidence and witness testimony linking Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking network, demanding an immediate independent special counsel investigation.

House Democrats Allege DOJ Cover-Up of Trump-Epstein Ties

The report highlights allegations from 11 women, five of whom claim Trump sexually assaulted them while in the company of Epstein. Among the testimony, Beatrice Keul describes being raped by Trump in a Plaza Hotel suite in 1993, while another accuser, Katie Johnson, alleges that both men sexually abused her when she was 13 years old. Investigators suggest that documents related to Johnson’s case have been systematically withheld from the public and Congress.

Rep. Jamie Raskin, the committee’s ranking member, argues that the DOJ is intentionally stifling inquiries to shield the administration. The document specifically cites current DOJ leadership, including Todd Blanche, for allegedly attempting to silence Ghislaine Maxwell to prevent her from disclosing details about the president’s past. While the White House has dismissed these claims as false, the committee insists that the scale of the documented abuse warrants a comprehensive federal probe into obstruction and witness tampering.
