Michael Raso to Lead LaSalle Investment Management Private Wealth

LaSalle Investment Management has tapped Michael Raso to spearhead its private wealth division, marking a strategic push to expand the firm’s reach beyond institutional investors. Raso, formerly a senior executive at PineBridge Investments, will join the global management committee effective January to oversee a segment the firm identifies as a priority.

Raso arrives at a critical juncture for the Chicago-based firm, which reported $86.8 billion in assets under management as of March. While the private wealth group maintains its strongest footprint in the Americas, Raso’s mandate includes collaborating with regional teams to replicate this success across international markets. He will report directly to CEO Brad Gries and President Tim Kessler.

This transition follows the tenure of Allan Swaringen, who established the firm’s private wealth footprint and guided the growth of the JLL Income Property Trust and JLL Exchange programs. Swaringen will step back from his leadership duties within the private wealth group but remains active as CEO and board member of JLL IPT. Raso joins the team after a decade at PineBridge Investments, where he served as the Americas head of intermediary and retail distribution.
