The initiative aims to modernize wealth management offerings in a region characterized by rapid digital trading growth over the last decade. By integrating State Street’s portfolio expertise with GTN’s existing platform, financial institutions can now extend sophisticated, professionally managed investment products to a wider demographic of investors, moving beyond traditional trading services.
Damian Bunce, CEO of GTN Middle East, emphasized that the shift represents the next logical step for the Gulf’s financial sector as it pivots toward broader accessibility. State Street Investment Management brings significant scale to the partnership, managing over $5 trillion in assets as of March 31. GTN, which holds regulatory licenses in jurisdictions including the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Dubai, will handle the technical delivery of these portfolios to regional partners.
