Beyond curbing the device’s over-eagerness to apologize, the software patch refines how Gemini manages time-based alerts. Users will now experience better distinction between standard timers and scheduled sleep alarms, addressing a common point of confusion for those relying on the assistant for nightly routines. The update also streamlines media management, allowing for smoother transitions when moving music playback between different rooms in the home. These adjustments signal a shift toward more predictable, less intrusive smart home performance.
