In the iOS app, the Muse avatar animates as it speaks. Users can ask the agent to choose a voice tone or pick from options in the avatar settings.

In brief testing, the agent responded quickly, with occasional pauses while it looked up information or checked a query. Its speech animations worked, though the reviewer found the effect uncanny when using an avatar resembling Zuckerberg. The reviewer also said the voice could not be made to sound exactly like the Meta CEO.

Meta says voice mode and expressive avatars are rolling out now in the US. Support for the company’s AI glasses is coming “soon”; the feature is also planned for the forthcoming Muse Charm gadget, which is supposed to ship this year.
