The Atlas 8 distinguishes itself with Arc B390 graphics powered by 12 Xe3 GPU cores and 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM. Its 8-inch, 120Hz display serves as the focal point for a chassis that features TMR joysticks and dual-mode triggers. Designed for flexibility, the device supports both portable play and docked configurations while running Windows 11, granting users immediate access to the Xbox Game Pass library.
Despite the competitive landscape, the handheld has already generated significant consumer interest. Best Buy’s initial preorder wave sold out within days, signaling a strong reception for Acer’s debut in the domestic handheld space. The company confirmed that inventory will be replenished for both online and in-store availability when the device officially launches next month.
