Candriam and Charles Russell Speechlys Announce Strategic Appointments

Candriam, which manages €177 billion in assets, has appointed Ozan Kazim as senior relationship manager for its UK wholesale team. Based in London, Kazim reports to head of UK distribution David Morley. He arrives with over 15 years of experience in asset management sales, having held positions at BNP Paribas Asset Management, Mirabaud Asset Management, and Slater Investments. His primary mandate involves driving revenue growth and diversifying the firm's client portfolio across equity, fixed income, and hedge fund strategies.

Simultaneously, international law firm Charles Russell Speechlys has named Claudina D’Costa as its new director of client development and marketing. D’Costa joins the firm with a two-decade track record in growth strategy, previously serving as head of client strategy at JLL and holding senior roles at PwC, where she led the Global Client Programme. She is tasked with streamlining the firm’s marketing approach across its various international regions to ensure a consistent experience for clients. Chief operating officer Lesley O’Leary noted that D’Costa’s appointment aligns with the firm’s focus on a client-centric approach to sustainable growth.
